Hello everyone - finally I registered here - a site that helped through A LOT :)

My issue is surely been answered many times but in that light there are several questions I did not found anywhere.
So... I am on of these very unfortunate users using Windows OS (WinOS 7 32-bit)

My connection is rather simple - I have 1 router to which in WiFi are connected - 1 Win PC, iPad, iPhone and Apple TV - and additionally the TV and the BluRay Player all in wireless.

I also have a collection of movies and TV Shows collected throughout the years which I last estimated when moving them to external HardDrives to around 3 TB.

Seen that everything for me passes through iTunes I would love if I can have them all there (adding names, descriptions and artwork is easy only time consuming BUT fun :) )

To get them there though they must be in Apple iTunes friendly format.
I tried with many software but the results are clear - minimum of 14 mins and max of ...a lot for conversion which will take me months to convert everything and will double the size of my collection as some of the movies I wish to keep in original format such as the .mkv in 1080p etc.

I have been researching in internet for possible ways to make ref files, to change settings, to use plug ins and so on and so on and I currently have failed at the following:

The reference files from FMPEG - no sound or no video or both - plug ins for QT were installed but most were for Mac (I just can't afford to get one at the moment and also my hardware is slightly incompatible with any OSx86 version unfortunately thus I am unable to install)

From QT PRO the ref movie did not work as well - no audio.

Programs like movie2itunes, flip4mac, perian and about a douzen other (great software) are for Mac OSx and are useless for me.

I tried to find a software like FileBuddy - no equivalent for Windows.

I tried scripting - I couldnt find a Windows guide for it - only through terminal and I am not that good in source codes without a guide to send me in the right direction (ashamed)

Maybe I tried some other stuff which after having tried all of the above I am missing.

the final thing that comes in mind in order to avoid the conversion is to load virtually Mac OS through VMware and try from there - but I fear the limitation and compatibility between the Win installations and the virtual mac.

Is there any other way? I am absolutely willing to rip iTunes apart if needed but conversion is really my very last option as it will take months.

Any help is appreciated - I am positive I should be able to get the proper codec into the Apple TV for the streaming part which is one of the scopes of the whole thing.
