Hi, I would like to buy a rmbp 13 model for school. But which one should I get?

I can get the current haswell 256 gb, 8gb ram model for 1449$ with edu discount.

Or I can get a refurbished old model for as cheap as 1189$:

Or
1269$

Or I can wait for september for broad well?

How much better is the current lineup then the early 2013 ones?

P.S. I have bought the current model but I have like 2 days to refund it. I like it so far but the battery could be better. Getting 5-6 hours normally.

13" is much better for late 2013. You get Iris graphics, a thinner chassis, 802.11ac, and more performance for less power.

Agree with post directly above.

I could be proven wrong, but I don't think the new Broadwell-based laptops are going to be ready by the time the next school semester begins.

So ... be governed by your other options...
