Need Camcorder Purchase Recommendation

I am looking at purchasing a Sony camcorder from Best Buy (due to the generous discount I can get on Sony camcorders). My question is which camcorder would be the BEST considering:
1. I'd like to have the highest quality video (HD)
2. Completely compatible with Final Cut Pro (I've heard some Hard Drive camcorders don't work too well with FCP)
