I have footage that is .MOV, H264, 29.97fps 1080p that I have been editing a project that is set to be burned onto DVD. I also have footage that is .MP4, H264 60 fields/second 1080.
To my understanding, the 60 fields per second footage is interlaced(1080i). Is this correct?
Under this understanding, I have taken this MP4 footage into Compressor and Media Encoder to try and get it to match the .MOV files(Ive been told to match all the footage to 29.97fps, h264, MOV 1080).
In Media Encoder, I imported the .MP4 file, and selected the "HD 1080p 29.97 H264 32mbps" preset and began my encode. Is this what I should have done, is this the correct preset??
In compressor, I selected "uncompressed 10Bit 422" because I saw the ".mov" would be the resulting file after the encode. I feel this may be incorrect. Which selection should I have made?
Last question(that I can currently think of), when I have my edit complete(I use FCE4 at home), and I go to school(they have new iMacs that have the Media Encode/Compressor) what is my next move to get the edited file into proper format for my DVD burn?
I see Media Encoder has some presets for MPEG2(DVD standard, right?)
But I also see presets for "DVD/Blu Ray", yet the DVD preset doesn't have all the varieties of encodes as the "MPEG2" section does... thoughts?
As usual, any help is greatly appreciated. I'm on the tail end of this project, and its due in two weeks, so Im trying to schedule time(s) I can get to school and use the iMacs.

EDIT: I ended up deleting the Media Encoder "h264,1080p..." bc it retained the mp4 file extension and not the .mov I thought I need. Also deleted the Compressor "uncompressed 10bit..." Bc it yielded a .mov file that was like nearly 240GB(?!) from the ~4.8GB .mp4...
