Any recommendations for a OSX clipboard utility that will allow me to "choose" to remove formatting when I paste a clip?

I am working on an academic paper and I need to be able to copy text from a variety of source viewers (Safari, Preview, MS Word, etc.) and paste it into my main editor, which in this case is Scrivener. I keep running into instances where any attempt to paste (ctrl-v or Paste and Match Style) still brings in bullets and other formatting that skews the paste result. I would rather not have to use a text editor as intermediate step.

I am hoping that there is a utility that will solve this problem for me :D.

Thanks!

I use ClipMenu, which is free. I use it for the history function, it hadn't occurred to me that I could force it to paste as plain text as I use it for emails which are plain text anyway. It should be able to force plain text though.

`No Formatting` seems does what you want

Found a new one-tricky-pony app called No Formatting. It does exactly what you want!

Do they build this app for you?:eek:

Popclip

I recommend Popclip a neat unobtrusive utility that has many handy extensions, one of which is Paste plain text.

i love this app and used most of my day "clipboard center"
https://itunes.apple.com/eg/app/clipboard-center/id599614786?mt=12

-group clipboards by app and even u can create a list of ur own
-clipborad can catch images ,files and texts
-u can add apps to blacklist to prevent clipboard app from catching from them
but there is on cons of this app that is u restarted ur mac all history will be removed by it self:(
