Need data from dead iPhone, backed up on iTunes

I accidentally drowned my iPhone yesterday, and haven't yet bought a new one (saving my pennies). I urgently need calendar and contact data off of it, which should be backed up on iTunes... can I access this data without a phone? How? Thanks!
