Need driver for DVD burner - any ideas?

I have a mac with a Matshita DVD UJ-8455 DVD burner - but it's missing the driver. I thought it would be easy enough to find online . . . but no such luck. What do I do now - replace the burner, buy a 3rd party driver, or ???
