A friend has asked me to make some recommendations for him in his search for a new pda (he wants a separate one from his phone). He is using MS '07 and so he will be able to sync with it (contacts, calendars, etc.). What I wanted to know is if anyone has firsthand experience with Apple's support for MS users? He is an older gentleman and so the odds of him needing customer support (apart from my help) are pretty high. His only other experience with PDA's are with Palms and he did well with those.

Thanks!

If he's older and knowledgeable of Palms, stick with Palms. Yes, I think the Touch is better; but I don't think it'd be worth the stress of learning a new platform for him. Also, the Touch is VERY RECENTLY getting "PDA" status, so there's still not a lot out there for it.

Stick with Palm is my recommendation.
