Hi,
I am playing Need for Speed Carbon on OS X.

Everything was fine on my first MacBookPro (1. Generation 1.88Ghz CoreDuo 1.5 GB RAW - ATI Readon ?? 128 MB ). It was running fast even in 1440 * 900 and full detail settings.

So far, since I brought my new MBP (2.2Ghz CoreDuo2 1GB RAM - GeForce 8600M GT 128 MB) the game lost all it's beauty. Now, even in 800 * 600 details to low as possible, the game and the sounds stucks often!
Some graphic effects, like light reflections on the car, are bizarre. The look like a big bug in openGL or in the graphic driver.

I tried to use different config-files, modified them. But no changes.

Any suggestions or help ?
