Need For Speed: Carbon...where are the 'career' profiles saved?

i just got a new laptop, and I would very much like to pick up from where I left off in NFS:Carbon...I don't want to play half of the game over again

for whatever reason, I can't seem to locate the saved profile(s) on my iMac...they're not in the root folder, system>library>application support,nowhere to be found in the home folder..well, i just can't find them anywhere...can anyone help me out?

i even checked the package contents of the game itself....can't find it...pulling my hair out, over myahhhh

not even a 'i'd like to know this too' or a 'you can't move profiles from one machine to another' or a 'hm, i can't figure this out either' ??

Look in your home directory, then:

Library/Preferences/Need for Speed Carbon Preferences/p_drive/My Documents/NFS Carbon

is the dir. i was wondering, does anybody have any cheats for this game? Ive tried the ones found by google, where it says to type it in the click to continue bit, but that wouldnt work...
Also, does anyone have a full save they want to share?

saved game

the saved game doesnt work still....it shows in the alias but then it is unable to load....i m kinda sick of it and there is apparently no patch available for it too
