Still have no answer to this.

I have cable tv being fed into my computer via Firewire, but the only way to view it is with Quicktime in New Movie Recording or with iMovie Import. But neither of these options allows me to view full screen.

VLC looked promising but it wants me to have EyeTV, it doesn't recognize my ADS capture card.

Video Viewer worked great but I never paid to register it.

Any ideas?

VLC 1.0 was released today, and has now moved from beta to an official version.

Give it a try again. The new features in the program suggest that it may support the kinds of functions you want.
