Sony is never going to make games for the iOS devices. Considering they have their own portable gaming platforms in the form of the PSP and the forth coming PS Vita the iOS devices are in direct competition.

ahh ya your right. then even though the y dont make it for consoles anymore, ea sports should make a mlb live for the ipad.

That may happen as EA is an independent third party software developer and they already make games for iOS devices including some of their biggest sports franchises like FIFA, Madden, Tiger Woods Golf, NBA Live and NHL. Baseball seems to be the only major US sport they haven't developed yet for the iOS devices.

what makes me think they won't is that they havn't made a baseball game for a gaming console since like 2005 so they would have to buy licensing for the mlb teams and names just to put an app out.
