Need good free VPN client that is compatible with Cisco for Windows

Hello. My college has been nice enough to install a wireless network around campus, however they only make the windows Cisco VPN client available for download. This means my mac won't work :-( I have tried using the VPN built into OS X but it does not work. Are there any VPN clients that will work on networks that are configured for Cisco VPN clients? If so are they free? Thanks for all your help.

A lot of schools have them available unprotected for students to download. look here:
