Need Hard Drive buying advice for TiBook

I'm looking to replace my TiBook's hard drive due to how loud it gets after just a few minutes of use. I just wanted to confirm that ATA-6 2.5" hard drives would work as replacements? Are there any hard drive manufacturers you recommend or any I should stay away from? I'm looking more for quietness than speed since the most I'll be saving to my laptop are Word documents. I'm mainly looking at this Hitachi model. Does anyone have any experiences with this model or with Hitachi in general? Does anyone have any additional tips for a first timer at installing hard drives? Thanks a lot.

Seagate definately. I have one in my Powerbook and its absolute magic. its quiet and is built as a server driver meaning its built to run for long periods. It also debuts with a 5yr warranty. Seagate comes highly recommended.

Your drive type should be PATA 2.5" Notebook type drive

Seagate Momentus 2.5 in 100 GB

I have installed Seagate's Momentus 2.5 drive (100 GB capacity) to replace my TI's original 20 GB Hitachi drive. I have no issue with this Seagate drive and everything is working smoothly with my Ti PB. This Ti is my first Mac (bought it new over 5 years ago). Replacing HD for TI PB is very easy; I wish the current MBP line would be this simple.
