Merry Christmas everybody:) I'm still new here on this site. Having a problem on my 2011 MacBook pro logic board after replacing the battery. I accidentally shorted the wire using a flat screw driver near the battery socket.(dumb me). now there is no power at all, i can see a very dim light on the a/c adapter indicator.I know how to measure voltages using a multimeter but I don't know were to start to. and I don't know where's the component location is. if you could pls give me a site to look for were to find each component location that's be great! I already find the circuit diagram of this model.THE component location only is my problem. early 2011 1278 model.

Likely that you killed the charging IC. It is ISL6259 on the schematic. The chip is located on the top side a little north of the battery connector. If you measure pin 14 it should be 3V but you will probably find it is measuring 0V. If so then you will need to change the device.
