I use ichat at home and it works fine I moved in my dorm and we have a router and it worked fine till yesterday. Now it makes alot of beeping sounds and says disconnected try again in a few minutes you logged it to fast and to many times which i didnt. I wait try again and it dosnt work . I even tryed the ethernet cable. But like i said it works at my home and has worked at school since september. Does anyone know why? thank you

Try changing the AIM ports to something other than the default. Go to iChat Preferences and click your acct. then hit server settings. Now just put in another port number, try 1850 or some other 4 digit port (doesn't really matter).
Your school might have firewalls on some of the default ports.
