need help about wireless!

hi all
i have an 8G iphone 1.1.4 which is jalbroken and unlocked with iliberty+ now that i try to make my own private wireless network at home although i set all the ip addreses and.... when i try to connect my iphone it says ==>unable to join the network.
i am really confused and not find any thing about it yet..
if any one knows whats the problem please help me!

It's worth checking the log on your wifi router to see what it detected and did about it when you tried to connect - it could be mac address filtering, or wrong dhcp setup, or lots of things
