Right guys story is i bought a 20inch mid 2007 iMac the other day on ebay
for £250 bargin i thought.
but so far i have 2 problems.

problem 1. The user has installed Lion over Snow Leopard, and i obviously can't install Snow Leopard back as its an older version.
Is there any way to revert back to Snow Leopard?

problem 2. In disk utility i can see the Lion partition with a size of 125.11
but there is a solid grey area with the remainder of my hard drive, and I'm unable to merge this to my existing 125.11gb

Hope i have explained this in a way you can understand, i have put a screen cap on.

Please Help

No original discs?

Try holding down the option key at startup and see if you can select SL as the startup.

You need to erase the Lion partition, see if SL's disk utility will do it.

I would start from scratch. And it really needs more ram.
