A month ago, I dropped my 6G and managed to make the screen black and not responsive to touch. I just recently bought a 6S and would like to backup all the photos that are on my broken 6G. The problem is is that my iPod has a passcode which I know, but every data recovery app (including iTunes) that I used keeps telling me that I need to enter the passcode to continue with the backup. Any solutions? I will not be buying a replacement screen for the 6G anytime soon (so please don't suggest that). There has to be other ways of getting past the passcode I think, and I wouldn't mind restoring my 6S with all the data from the 6G (including the passcode) so I can just enter the passcode on my 6S.
