I can't seem to burn dvd's. I tried burning a movie, by rippping it onto my mac ( i converted it to .mov) but when i burned it to a dvd it didnt burn as a movie dvd but a dvd containing .mov files. HELP PLEASE!

In short, video DVD store their video as MPEG-2 video, you transcoded it to another format using another codec (probably H264).
Also video DVDs need a certain structure like VIDEO_TS folders and those .ifo, .bup and .vob files.

By simply burning the .mov file to the DVD, you accomplish only burning the .mov file to a DVD.

You can either use Burn (free) or Toast Titanium to burn a video DVD (playable in those physical DVD players).

Be sure to select VIDEO DVD in both programs, and not DATA DVD.
