Need help - Can't close a background installer

Hi,

I'm super fresh to Mac and was using wineskin to allow me to play WOT on my Macbook Pro, upon restarting my laptop there is still an open install program asking if I want to install or abort.

How do I Cancel/Close or find the program that is trying to run this, as I don't know how to get to the window, I can only see it as windows is shutting down.

Open up Activity Monitor and force close the process.

I did a lot more searching and found the answer on an Apple support page,

It was a Adware program called Genieo, gone now tho.

Genieo doesn't go away that easily.
Take a look at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6506
You want to be sure you remove any remnants from all Launch folders as well as the Application Support folder, as noted in that document.
