Need Help!! Cant Connect

Hi,
I have the iphone 2g that I have 1.1.4 installed

I unlocked it using ziphone

When I enter a sim card it appears to recognize the sim card, but does not connect to the network. I tried an ATT sim and Tmobile. This has happened to me with another phone as well, but other phones I have done this with are just fine.

Any help is appreciated
