someone please help. After I downloaded Lion from App store I followed the appropriate directions to make a clean copy on a dvd.

I.E. find the installer file and copy (not drag) to desktop, open disk utility, move installer file to left side of disk utility and then burn.

once this was done I erased my hd in disk utility to do a fresh install of Lion. When I try to run the new dvd that I just created after clicking the option key from a restart, I just keep on getting the spinning circle under the apple system. Does it take a long time to load the dvd, 5mins+?

Next I just tried going into the partition that Lion created and clicked on the section that says install Lion again. After I enter in my credentials I get an internal server error message. Is this my computer problem or an apple problem. Anyone else seeing this message.

some please assist here. thanks.

mine took a good 5-7 mins to eventually move from the apple startup screen to the lion installer.

As long as you can hear the DVD drive reading then this is fine
