Need Help choosing a laptop

I've been interested in buying a laptop for quite a long time. For quite some time i was interested in PC products mainly because it's what i'm used to, but after hearing about all the problems my friends have had i don't even want to go near a PC. My main uses would be for school work, editing video, gaming, and mabey some programing. My main concern Is compatibility. I Want a 15.4in Macbook Pro, but is it the right choice?

Right on. The pro is perfect for what you are looking into doing. Especially video editing. My brother is into programming and nothing can separate him from his MBP. Go for it!
