I have a 2006 white MacBook that has been upgraded to accommodate OS 10.6 Snow Leopard. I am trying to connect it to my television. I bought a dynex mini-DVI to S-video cable, which can also use a (yellow) video composite cable. I have the television on the correct input, but when I connect the adapter to the macbook and use the s-video cable to connect to the tv, nothing happens. When I use the yellow composite cable, the television screen becomes black and white fuzzy. If I move a window around the screen on the macbook, the fuzzy picture on the tv screen moves, but there is no clear picture. I'm not sure what steps to take at this point, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
