I've owned two iphones and had each one replaced a few times for various reasons. Every time I get a new phone, a new folder for purchased music shows up in itunes, even if I don't change the name of the phone and restore from the back up of the previous unit.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a way I can get all purchased music into a single folder.

This has been bugging me for quite a while. Did you ever find a solution? I already had several "Purchased on iPhone" playlists pushing my useful playlists farther down, where I have to scroll to see them. Now Apple's added Ping (which I have no interest in using) and provided no way to hide it from the source list, so here I am trying to find a way to reclaim some of that space...

Just drag the songs from each of the other playlist to the most current one.
Delete older ones and your done.
