Dropped my iPhone 6 last night and cracked the screen pretty bad. After crying myself to sleep and wiping my tears I want to know the best way to replace it. Is it easy to do on my own? Should I take it to a local screen repair place? How much $$$ is this gonna cost me? What all would I need if I wanted to do it myself? Thanks.

Purchased it using an Amex card or equivalent by any chance? If so, it covers accidental damage in the first 90 days and you can file a claim.

The Apple Store can also do a screen replacement for cheaper than the out of warranty replacement cost.

No I've had it since september

Any other options besides Apple store

If you replace it yourself or take it to a third party for repair, you'll void the remaining warranty. Not worth it on a fairly new phone.

As others have said, take it to the nearest Apple Store. Screen replacement price through them should be available on their site, and they do it in the store relatively quickly.

Apple will take away your tears with a Genius appointment.
