Ok, so my wife says to me today:
I would like to be able to pick several albums and just have the iPhone's iPod app put those albums in a play queue and shuffle them WITHOUT creating a playlist.
Even better, she would like to be able to add an album to the mix later if she likes.
Basically, she does not want to have to go delete the playlist later -- she has no desire for it to be persistent.
Anyway, I noticed the Navigon in-app iPod control pretty much gives her the first part (e.g.: add a bunch of songs and shuffle them without creating a play list). I *believe* this iPod interface is provided to them by an Apple API. So here are my questions:
1) Can you access this same interface from the iPod app, if so, from where?
2) Is there an app in the app store that JUST provides this interface. I'd rather not ask her to start the largest most-battery-draining app on her device just to play music.
Thanks in advance for the help.
