Have some work money I can spend on a tablet and I wanted to pick everyone's brains on if it's worth it.
Yes I could just get whatever and use it for whatever but I'd like to try and use it for what I'd like to do. already did that and my kid now has an iPad air for traveling and I'd like something more for me this time around.
Basic invoicing, video and web browsing. Maybe add an emulator and play some nes or SNES games.
Ideally I'd love to do some very basic cad or 3d modeling while traveling. Basic things like cabinets, engine cross members and bumpers for my project car and potentially scanning and coming up with 3d printable parts for the interior.
Googling things makes it seem possible using umake, sketchup or shapr3d for the CAD/modeling stuff but I haven't found my anything recent using the M2/m4 ipads.
Those hopes aside looking at something with cellular so I don't need to use a hot spot while traveling and works well on a plane (economy at best for the long haul flights)
Currently leaning towards an m4 11 or 13, mainly for the display but open to air models
