I live in Malibu and have been with AT&T for many years. I commute on the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) from Malibu to Santa Monica, and the signal is very spotty and it's very hard to have a conversation as the signal break up all the time and you get disconnected frequently.
My contract is up for renewal and I'm thinking about switching to Verizon. I have heard that their voice coverage on PCH is great. I would appreciate input from people who have made that switch in general and from people in my area in particular.
Voice quality/coverage is more important to me than download speeds, as long as I am able to browse normal web pages at a reasonable speed.
Verizon will also be more expensive for me, as I am currently getting by with 200MB of data for $15 instead of Verizon's $30 minimum plan.
Also, which of the two providers is the one to be with when an LTE iPhone becomes available?
