Need help deciding! (MB+Apple LED display or MBP?)

Hey everyone, I need help deciding on a new set up. Should I go with the macbook plus the new Apple LED display, or should I just get the macbook pro with no external display? This is going to be my only computer so I really want to make the right decision. Both options seem to be around the same price, and I plan on upgrading either computer with 4gb of ram. And probably an external hard drive. What would you guys do?

I'd say MacBook + LED display. The specs are pretty similar and this way you get a very portable laptop plus a large screen, rather than a kinda portable laptop with an okay screen.

Hey, I've had to make a similar decision too!

I decided to go with the 2.4GHz MacBook, with RAM upgraded to 4GB. Instead of the LED Display though, I think I'm gonna go for the Dell 30" Monitor which isn't too far off in terms of price (in NZ at least!).
