Need help deciding on entertainment system

I have a 1400-2000 price range. I want 46ish inch flat screen, a reciever and 5.1 speakers. What's the best out there for my buck? Ty

ps. Color and contrast are bug for me and something that makes video games look good too. Is a slingplayer worth the money? I'd use slingplayer mobil too, is that any good?

depends on how picky you are with quality. i can get you a 46 inch tv spekaers and receiver for 1700 - 1800....it obivously wont be as good as a set that is 2500.

if you ask me...it sounds like you want a better tv...so i would spend the money on that and get a less than great surround sound system.
