Need help deleting an account

Ok so here is the scenario:

I just bought a 17 inch MBP (loving it by the way) from someone off of craigslist and he has a user name under the administrator. I want to change it so that I am the only account on this computer...however he wasn't able to give me his install discs because he had a leopard family pack. So basically I need to delete his admin account and make my account the only, and primary account without my leopard discs. Is this possible.

I know I'm going to have to buy Leopard eventually...but I'm going to hold out as long as possible.

Do it in the opposite order. First, create your account and make sure it is an administrator. Then when logged in as the new account you should be able to delete the old account you don't want.

Sure, just create a new, second administrator account with your name. You can then delete the old administrator account.

Yeah I figured it out. That's exactly what I did. Turned out if I had just tried before I asked I could have figured it out.
