I made a mistake when updating my password in MacRumors by somehow getting stuck in the two factor authentication, which is something that I don’t need for this forum. I have looked at the settings in my account’s profile and still haven’t figured how to disable it. Before I had updated my password login into MacRumors was straightforward and fast, but now it isn’t.

Should you know how to disable the two factor authentication, would you please let me know?

Thanks in advance! :)

As long as your new password is working, you should be able to access your two-factor settings here and turn them off:

Thanks!
I had to try the option S.G.B. provided below, because I could not find a solution in the Security block.

Your best bet is to send a message to Support here: https://forums.macrumors.com/misc/contact
Thank you for the suggestion. I went ahead and "sent" a message to the contact in link above. I will wait and see what happens now.

Thanks again, much appreciated.
