OK, so here's my problem.
I have an external 500GB hard drive.
I recently started having problems with it and used Diskwarrior to fix the volume.
I now have an issue whereby I mount the drive, and I cannot unmount it.
I cannot use disk utility, and I cannot now use Diskwarrior again.
What's even more strange is that in the finder, it says there are 0 items, but that there is 164GB left. This would indicate that all my files (my music
) are still on there, but for some reason my MB isn't seeing things correctly.
I've tried the lsof command, and I can't see anything using the Volume.
I also cannot cd into the Volume from the Terminal either.
I just really really don't know what to do next. I'm in danger of losing 10 years of music.
