Hi,

first excuse me for my english.

My brother is using a 2014 MacBook Pro, yesterday he called me because all the files on iCloud drive had gone itself. There is a bunch of folders and subfolders he created, but nothing in them. He told me ha hasn't done anything unusual. We tried to deactivate and reactivate iCloud Drive but nothing happen. The most weird thing is when we try to restore files from iCloud.com there is nothing to restore. We also tried Disk Drill on the Mac flash drive but it wasn't successful.

Any idea what we can try?
Any good file recovery program to consider, other tha Disk Drill?

He told me this is pretty important stuff, and that's why he put them on iCloud...

Thanks

Does he have adequate storage space on iCloud, does he pay for upgraded storage, does he have a valid payment method on his Apple ID account, has he contacted Apple Support and requested a Senior Advisor (who will be able to verify his identity so they can look into his storage details with advanced tools)….I’d start there.
