Need help finding an app - Transfer, view, edit text files instantly?

Greetings All -

I need the ability to transfer text from my mac to my ipad, instantly. On the ipad it would be nice to be able to edit the text once it's there.

What would be the best way to achieve this? Ultimately I just want to be able to copy text from a web page and get it to the pad screen as quickly as possible.


Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Use Microsoft Word and save the document in cloud (iCloud, Dropbox, sky drive), which can be opened in any linked devices.
 
You know... I didnt really think about that - guess the same thing could work using Pages and Icloud drive, eh?

Might be a good solution.... my reason for this is I do VO work and need to be able to get scripts from my studio mac to my booth, and be able to easily navigate the text once on the ipad. I was thinking along hte lines of teleprompter apps possibly... but just using word/pages and cloud saving might be a good option.

I STARTED with notes but the delay between pasting the text in to note and it showing up on the ipad was like anywhere from 2-5 minutes. Way too long. I need to paste it in to the document, walk 8 steps and have it waiting.

Try google keep.
 
Use the handoff feature. Use for example Pages on the Mac and just overtake it on the IPad.....handoff

Let the app sync in the background.
