So Im from canada and bought a used iphone locally and I know for a fact it's not rogers, so I guess im now stuck with bell, telus or fido.

Is there a way for me to find which is the originial carrier without buying a new sim card for every carrier?

Go to Settings > General > About and look at the Carrier. If it has been activated it should say the carrier that the phone is locked to.

The easiest thing to do is go into a store like Wireless Wave or Best Buy which carry phones from all the carries and borrow and try sim cards. If you are planning to get service i am sure they will be happy to help you.

Not a bad idea

Or whore yourself out on craigslist.
