Need help for a Photoshop action!

Hey,

I need to make an action (a droplet) which does the following:

1. Opens up an Illustrator file (let's say I drag the .ai file onto a droplet made from the action), 300 dpi

2. Make a JPEG from it and save it the original Illustrator files location.

3. Next – in photoshop – go to Image Size and change it to 72 dpi, make a GIF and save it to the Illustrator files location.

4. Close the Illustrator file in Photoshop, without saving


I have yet to have succes with trying to make this script, can anyone help me?

Hi Jakob,

I think Photoshop's actions may be too limited for this, but you could try Automator and the free Photoshop Action Pack. It'll take some tweaking to get it right but it should work
