so not being happy with lion, i want snow leopard back. i erased the macintosh hd drive and when i booted off the snow leopard disc i cant get passed selecting my hdd, theres a yellow caution sign and its telling me i cant install onto that drive. help? :[ also, excuse the grammar, im on the ps3.

dont think so, i erased the entire thing. im also now doing the ' erasefree space' option.

When you are in the install process, open disk utility and delete the entire drive. It reads like you are trying to do the install without fully erasing the drive. This is different from erasing free space.

seems to be working now. thanks. also, one of the reasons im reinstalling is because twice now my screen has gone off for no reason without warning, but the computer stays on, any idea why this would happen? it never happed while on snow leopard..
