I have two 512mb SDRAM chips which have been flagged defective by Apple Genius because they are 3rd party furnished. I have since reinstalled the two chips and the computer is working fine. What software can I use to test these chips to determine if they are truly defective? According to Apple my disk named "Apple Hardware Test" will not work on any "non-apple provided" memory.
I am using a Dual 1.25 GHz Power PC G-4, Mirror Door, 800FW. Any help will be most appreciated. Thanks
