Hey all, I am a solo musician and I currently use Logic Pro X to run my backing tracks and my guitar - using plugins. I play the guitar live and my backing vocals and other instruments, as I said are playing..
I use an Apogee Duet to plug my guitar into Logic and I have a QSC TouchMix 16 That takes my backing tracks into 2 channels - sounds better than the stereo channels and it also has a channel for my vocals..
The issue is that I need to automate vocal effects and I wrongly thought when buying the TouchMix that I would be able to midi change vocal effects.. Anyway I have plodded on for a couple of years just changing effects on the fly, but I want more precision..
I am thinking that the path of least resistance is running my vocals through logic, but I wanted to know what is the best way to do that with what I have or is there a better way of utilizing what I have by adding something..
What is the best way of running live vocals through Logic? Is this crazy or is it doable? Thanks in advance..
