iPod touch Need Help: I want to uninstall the 3.0 software

The 3.0 software has been nothing but a pain in the ass for me! I want to know if there is any way possible to get rid of it. Btw, the software is installed on the 2nd generation touch. Thanks in advance!

The best way to to this is download the iPod Touch OS version 2.2.1, then restore the iPod. Hold down the option key right after you click restore, then select the .ipsw file that has the 2.2.1 firmware. After you restore it, it should function correctly.
