I have a 2012 Non-Retina 13 inch Macbook Pro. A couple of years ago one of the "feet" on my Macbook Pro fell off and the "display data cable" (see picture) got damaged. Today my computer wouldn't start it chimed and there was a white screen - no log in or flashing folder. I thought it might be the logic board but then I remember that this cable was damaged a few years ago. I carefully took it out and put it back in and the computer starts up again but only with an external monitor - it did not do that before I did this, it would not start at all. This cable looks very damaged and I want to replace it. However I can not find a place to buy it. On ifixit is it is called a display data cable but I'm not even sure if this is the correct name. I am having problems finding where to buy this cable AND instructions regarding how to fix it, when I purchase the replacement. I would really appreciate some help with one or both of these problems. Thank you so much!
(it is step 15)
