Hi,

I have a MacBook Pro with TouchBar, and run virtualBox on top of MacOS. I would like to configure the TouchBar such that when I am in the VM (Windows or Linux), the TouchBar only displays F1-F12 fixed.

I followed the Apple support instruction:
For some apps, you can make the function keys display permanently in Touch Bar:

  1. In System Preferences, choose Keyboard.
  2. Click Shortcuts.
  3. From the left sidebar, select Function Keys.
  4. Click the “+” symbol, then navigate to the app and select it.
Now when you open or switch to this app, Touch Bar always displays the function keys.

This works for most of the apps. However, VirtualBox has two windows open when running: VirtualBox, and VirtualBox VM. The above setting works for the VirtualBox Window, but not the VirtualBox VM window. and I am not able to add VirtualBox VM window in keyboard configuration.

Any help is appreciated.
