Hey guys, I had a question regarding the RAM limit on some of the machines.
I did my background research along the sites and saw that the 2.4ghz Macbooks (Oct 08 models) had RAM limit of 6GB.
However, I remember seeing that on apple website, it said upto 4GB rather than 6GB.

My concern is that as a student, I do not have high budget and was hoping to buy refurbished 2.4 ghz macbook (since the price went down quite abit) and upgrade the RAM as years go by rather than buying a new 2.23ghz MBP.
However, with snow leopard coming and all, I was hoping to buy a machine that can have higher RAM limit so that I can still install RAM later on.

Basically, I was wondering if the 2.4ghz macbook has RAM limit of 6GB or 4GB?
And does the 2.23MBP have 8GB RAM limit?
Lastly, the only differences between 2.4ghz MB and 2.23ghz MBP are the SD slot, firewire, better screen and longer battery life?

Thanks for reading the long post!

as the previous post says, yes, to all of the above, but he also left out an important factor, the 2.23 is $300 less than the 2.4 when new (not sure how much it'll be now in the refurb store).
