I am asking all San Diego or Orange County people to recommend a place where I can take my 30" Apple Cinema display in for repair. Specifically, I need to replace the male DVI connector with a new one. The original DVI connector has wires that, over the course of 6 years, have become disconnected inside the connector itself.

I have done a ton of homework on this problem and
* NO, I cannot seem to find a replacement cable harness for this monitor as it is unsupported by Apple.
* BUT I do have the wiring pin-out for the male connector with photos from a different forum.

So I need a shop that will get a male DVI connector, strip the wires on the Cinema display cable and solder the wires to the pins per the pin-out I have.

The name of a shop/person that can do this work is what I am looking for.
For privacy sake, please IM me with suggestions, names and locations.

I really want to keep this monitor as it is in great condition....except for the male DVI connector that fits into my MacBook Pro.

Thank you, one and all for your assistance.

It may be cheaper to buy someones broken Display on Ebay and swap out the cord.
