Well, I am certainly new to using Mac OS X and Terminal. I look for apps but most of them turn out to be .exe (Windows file) and so I went on looking for an emulator. So, I found this interesting app called Wine. This emulates or converts any Windows executable to Mac file. Now, to run Wine, you need another app called MacPorts. I downloaded that and the website asked me to modify MacPorts via Terminal. I did that and it seems there was a problem with my procedure. Now when I open any terminal window, all I see as the window name is "Terminal - login - 80x24". If I type reset or anything, it does not respond like "no such command"(or whatever that pops-up). I tried looking for com.apple.terminal.plist in the preferences folder but it wasn't there.
