Need help installing an ext. HD on MBPr

Just installed two 2.5" internal HD's in Toshiba HD cases. The first was a Samsung 250GB SSD and worked immediately. The second one is a conventional Toshiba 7200 rpm drive that did not show up on the desktop. I went through disk utility and got the following message in the picture below.
Any help would be appreciate it.
