update status on a iphone

If there is an update for you're phone, then do not restore or you will lose all jailbreak data. This also depends on how new the phone is. scenario:

My sister and my mom have the same phone my moms was able to update to the newest firmware my sister wasn't both with the same phone and same amount of memory (4s 64gb) this is the strangest thing I have ever seen in my life.

never do this erase all settings using Restore then Will i be able to reinstall Cydia via Absinthe? it will force you to restore if you don't have shsh blobs any method of restoring will force you to go to the latest ios 6.0.1. So are you trying to reinstall cydia now?
